The 17th World Congress of Jewish Studies took place August 6-10, 2017 in Jerusalem, Israel. Over 2000 people participated in the Congress, which featured roughly 1700 lectures in many diverse fields of Jewish Studies, as well as cultural events and a book fair. For the first time at the Congress digital humanities experts presented the newest development in the field of Digital Jewish Studies.
The World Union of Jewish Studies in collaboration with Beit Avi Chai and Ben-Gurion Research Institute of Israel and Zionism presents: Short lectures by some of the best young scholars on leading research in the field of Jewish Studies and Israel Studies.
